Flash: clickTag and sound

Expandable

  • An expandable ad is user initiated
  • The expandable has a close button
  • Closes on mouse-out and close action
  • Sound on/off is user initiated
  • The expandable part is an extension of the ad: 120x600 will expand to a maximum size 360x600 and the 728x90 will expand to a maximum size 728x450
  • Expandable rectangle 336x280 will expand to 336x560, either horizontally or vertically

Adstamp

See working example. There are 2 options to create the Adstamp:
Option 1: Files hosted by Adfactor:
  • Click here to download the design templates
  • In the zip file you will find 2 flash templates for the Adstamp, one that automatically expands and one collapsed, in frame one of the bottom layer of these fla file you will find an explanation how to edit the fla file to construct your creative.
  • The auto-expanded Adstamp will close on click, please use open/close button
  • The collapsed Adstamp will expand and collapse user initiated on click (see template), please use open/close button
  • In the zip file you will also find the javascript template which we use to serve the Adstamp. This is provided for testing purposes.
  • Put the path to your creative after "var swf =" to test your creative with the Adstamp script.
  • When collapsed, the adstamp is 970x86 pixels, when expanded it's 970x418 pixels in size. (see template for more details)
  • Please submit 3 SWF's (auto-expand Adstamp, collapsed Adstamp and 336x560) tower with a tracking pixel and a click command.

Option 2: Files hosted by Adrime:
  • Adrime provides it's own design templates for the Adstamp. Click here to download the Adrime design template.
  • Adrime makes it possible to measure interactivity and video usage of the adstamp.

Interstitial

  • The interstitial creative is maximum 650x450 pixels.
  • Can be delivered as a gif, png or jpeg file (max 50 Kb filesize).
  • Or, an swf file with an animation of maximum 15 seconde (max 100Kb in filesize).
  • Or, an flv movie of maximum 15 seconds (max 1,5 Mb in filesize).
  • We prefer swf or flv.
  • In case of swf, please make sure the file has a correct clickTag implemented.

  • Please read these specs carefully, it includes guidelines and tips!
  • An effective sponsored header becomes a part of the website, ideally it is not a large banner
  • Flash and animation: subtle animation without flashes or operations which generate heavy CPU usage, no loops
  • Prevent the usage of large font types; height of used characters should be less than 100 pixels
  • User-initiated sound (on click) on/off

  • These files will be resized by our traffic department, so please deliver in the best possible quality. 1500 Kbit/s video and 160 Kbit/s audio are a good standard.

  • Body text - 75 characters (2 lines)
